Planning your sacred Char Dham Yatra in 2026? The divine Himalayan circuit consisting of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath is scheduled to open on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya in May 2026.
1. Mandatory Biometric Registration
The Uttarakhand government has made online/offline biometric registration mandatory for all pilgrims. You must carry your valid Aadhaar card and registered QR slip.
2. Traditional Route Sequence
According to Hindu scriptures, the Char Dham should always be performed from West to East in clockwise direction:

3. Kedarnath Dham
